Terms and Conditions


Welcome to James Mobile Detailing. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our detailing services, both mobile and in-shop. By scheduling or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

Booking and Cancellations

  • Booking: All bookings must be scheduled in advance, either online or over the phone. Mobile detailing services are available Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm, and in-shop services are available Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Failure to cancel within this time frame will result in a cancellation fee of 25% of the booked service cost. Rescheduling is allowed without penalty if done at least 24 hours in advance.

Mobile Detailing Conditions

  • Service Location: Mobile detailing services are provided at the customer’s home, apartment, or other approved location. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide adequate space and access to the vehicle. For services requiring electricity or water, the customer must ensure availability unless otherwise arranged.

  • Weather: In case of inclement weather, James Mobile Detailing reserves the right to reschedule the service for another day. We will notify customers as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

  • Travel Fees: Mobile detailing services are provided within Burlington, NC, and surrounding areas. A travel fee may apply for locations outside of our normal service area, which will be discussed during booking.

In-Shop Detailing Conditions

  • Operating Hours: Our shop is open Monday through Saturday, from 8am to 6pm. Customers are expected to drop off and pick up their vehicles during these hours unless alternative arrangements are made.

  • Vehicle Condition: Vehicles brought to the shop should be in good mechanical condition. James Mobile Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing mechanical issues.

Liability and Damage

  • Pre-existing Damage: James Mobile Detailing is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the vehicle before service begins.

  • Accidental Damage: In the rare event that damage occurs as a result of our services, James Mobile Detailing will notify the customer and take appropriate steps to address the issue.

  • Personal Items: We ask that all personal items be removed from the vehicle before the service. James Mobile Detailing is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings left inside the vehicle during the service.

Payments

  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit, and debit cards, after pay and affirm. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made.

  • Deposits: For most services, a deposit may be required at the time of booking, which will be applied toward the final service cost.

  • Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to additional fees, and any services provided on credit must be paid within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us immediately, and we will take the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

Changes to Services and Pricing

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any of our services or pricing at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers in advance and will not affect confirmed appointments unless otherwise agreed upon.
